How a mobile website works
A responsive website adapts navigation and information to the screen. Website updates do not require installing an APK. That convenience does not authenticate the operator or show that account, cashier and game functions are available in Kenya; assess each claimed feature separately.
Connection and device security
- Open the independently checked address yourself.
- Use an updated device with a screen lock.
- Avoid entering sensitive account information on an untrusted connection.
- Do not reuse an email password or mobile-wallet PIN as an account password.
Website or application?
Mobile web avoids package-installation permissions. A verified application may provide a shortcut or notifications, but its publisher and source need authentication. Do not install a package with an unidentified publisher or signature; a similar name is insufficient.
Mobile-payment checks
If an operator and payment route are independently established as eligible, compare the recipient and amount before approving an M-Pesa request. After a connection failure, inspect the original account and payment references before repeating anything.
